Biogas is a methane-containing gas produced by the decomposition of organic matter in an anaerobic (oxygen-free) environment. Livestock waste; food, sugar, paper industry waste, sewage treatment plants, etc. Biogas is obtained by fermentation of waste and degradation of organic materials by microorganisms. Because biogas cannot be obtained continuously at the same flow rate and is not always available, it generally needs to be supplemented with a secondary fuel.
